CFA's Startups Hangout is a monthly meetup brought to you by CFAtech.ng, where startups can connect with successful entrepreneurs and top executives who have garnered tons of experiences that money cannot buy.
Interested startups can also register to pitch at each edition of the hangout using this link but that's after they must have secured a seat.

John is Managing Director, SystemSpecs, which is today Nigeria’s leading e-payment provider through its unique Remita solution. It’s currently the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) adopted payment gateway for the facilitation of the Federal Government’s Treasury Single Account (TSA) project, processing about $6 Billion worth of transactions on a monthly basis.
John Obaro is a distinguished alumnus of both Ahmadu Bello University, University of Lagos, and the Chief Executive Program (CEP3) of Lagos Business School. He has served at various times on the Boards of the Ministerial Advisory Council on Information and Communication Technology, Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria, Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) and many more.
Country Manager, Avanti Satellite communications
Jane is the country manager for Avanti Satellite communications Executive with 12+ years of experience in the industry. She focuses in bridging the business and technical challenges of managing complex, high-value business relationship in the industry having s managed operations for multinational telecommunication like Nokia Siemens and Ericsson, for countries in Sub Saharan Africa.
Jane is a graduate of Electronics Engineering from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with an Executive Education from Harvard Business School and an MBA from Warwick Business School.
• Pitch sessions
1). For Startups to learn from successful entrepreneurs, nuggets on how they can weather through unfavourable economic state to success.
2). For Startups to network with one another in order to collaborate and partner with each other, taking advantage of areas of strengths and weaknesses.
3). For Startups to learn the rudiments of pitching + get exposure if they do well.
The event is free of charge, but only 50 seats are available, so, hurry now and register! Startups willing to attend have to complete this registration form, and only those shortlisted will be invited.
Attendees who arrives without prior confirmation will not be allowed into the venue except they pay an entry fee of Three Thousand Naira (3,000) only.
